MPlus Cosmetics: An Integrated Approach to Quality, Sustainability, and ESG

At MPlus Cosmetics, quality has always been more than a standard requirement: it is a strategic approach that guides every phase of our operations, from research and development to production, logistics, customer service, and sustainability initiatives.

Over the years, we have continuously strengthened our management systems to ensure the highest standards of product quality, safety, environmental responsibility, and workplace wellbeing. In line with this vision, the company has developed its production processes according to the main international standards governing the cosmetics industry, creating an integrated management system focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Today, MPlus Cosmetics holds the following certifications:

  • ISO 22716 (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practice) – since 2014
  • UNI EN ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) – since 2014
  • UNI EN ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) – since 2019
  • UNI ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Management System) – since 2021

These certifications reflect our commitment to product quality, process efficiency, environmental responsibility, and workplace safety.

Our integrated approach is aligned with ESG principles — Environmental, Social, and Governance — and supports the implementation of responsible and transparent business practices across the supply chain.

As part of this commitment, MPlus Cosmetics undergoes annual EcoVadis evaluations and continues to carry out SMETA audits shared through the SEDEX platform, reinforcing our focus on ethics, transparency, and social responsibility.

Our sustainability strategy is also strongly supported by a data-driven and forward-thinking approach. Over the years, MPlus Cosmetics has collaborated with Politecnico di Milano on several projects, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies and in-depth analyses of water and energy consumption within our production processes. These collaborations have played an important role in helping us better understand and reduce our environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle, while also supporting process optimization initiatives.

In December 2025, the company launched a comprehensive carbon footprint project covering Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, with the objective of strengthening the monitoring and management of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and supporting a more sustainable production model.

Through continuous investment in innovation, quality systems, and sustainability initiatives, MPlus Cosmetics aims to create long-term value for customers, partners, employees, and stakeholders worldwide.
